Loc-Mai Yuen-Brooker was born in Bracknell, Berkshire, and took a natural interest in the piano from an early age. She followed her dreams by studying French and Music at Westminster College, Oxford and later qualified as a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music. Taking up a post in Vierzon Choir and School of Music, she toured France accompanying and performing. Returning to Berkshire, she continued to share her passion of music on the concert platform as a piano recitalist whilst furthering her teaching career.
With over 25 year’s experience in teaching, Loc-Mai is now settled in the Wisbech area predominately as a piano / theory teacher, also accompanying and performing, showing her passion for the piano. This has become the hallmark of her high standard of teaching, imparting her skills with enthusiasm, hence ensuring the enjoyment of her pupils’ flourishing talents at any level. Likewise, she takes much pride when guiding those pupils who choose to pursue their aptitude to university or Music College.
