A Classical pianist at heart, Loc-Mai takes great pleasure in sharing her music with audiences, and likes to feel that she can bring Classical Piano Music to the non-specialist music lover together with informal explanations to provide a little background to her music. Her performances have included works by Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Schubert, Poulenc and Debussy.
On a regular basis, Loc-Mai enjoys playing informally as a pianist at Peckover House, the National Trust property in Wisbech, often performing to visitors’ requests.
Whether it is Vintage Tea in the Conservatoire, a Garden Party on the Green, or a White Wedding in the Church; Loc-Mai enjoys providing a suitable atmosphere to match the style and setting you desire for the occasion, from light classical to popular piano pieces.
Over the years, Loc-Mai has enjoyed accompanying instrumentalists, vocalists and small ensembles for concerts, weddings and other events; she has also been pianist to local operatic societies and is frequently called on to accompany instrumentalists for exams. She prides herself on being a versatile and sensitive accompanist.
For twelve years Loc-Mai was piano accompanist for the Wisbech Mixed Choir, the Clarkson Singers, until she become their Director of Music in 2012.
